Bradley is the design authority for the much praised MH35 overrun coupling used on the UK Ministry of Defence's light trailer fleet over the last 20 years. This overrun coupling has proved extremely durable in a wide variety of operating conditions. Typical applications have included the General Cargo, Lightweight Trailer which has a rated load capacity of 1,100 kg. Formerly known as the 3/4 Tonne GC Trailer, when it was more commonly referred to as the Sankey or Land Rover trailer.

Given its long experience of designing and supplying mission capable towing equipment for the MOD it was logical that Bradley was charged with designing equipment to make the MOD’s overrun braked trailer fleet meet current legislative requirements, Bradley rose to the challenge and invented an auto-reversing hydraulic disc brake system. This has been adopted on the new generation trailers for the Defence forces, whilst also being applied to make existing trailers more efficient and user-friendly. Not content with having achieved the brief, Bradley is pushing on to offer flexible and simple upgrade paths to maximise the use potential with different prime mover types.
